The Dataservices department

The Cloud Engineering team is part of Dataservices and the back bone of the organization. We develop and maintain the complete IT infrastructure. We ensure that all IT works; from ensuring the lottery draw runs smoothly to organising all the IT for the workspaces for our almost 700 colleagues. Innovation is high on the agenda to make sure our IT gets better, faster and more efficient. Continuity, reliability and security come in the first place and we handle a zero error margin for sales, standard orders, lottery draws and the pay out of the prizes.

Who are we

The Goede Doelen Loterijen (Nationale Postcode Loterij and VriendenLoterij) were established with the mission to raise funds and create awareness for charities and good causes by organizing a lottery, We are the largest fundraiser in the Netherlands and in the top 5 of largest private donors to charities around the world. There are 3.5 participants in the Netherlands joining our lottery each month and do we have over 100.000 winners each month. Thanks to all the participants we have been able to support many charities and projects focused on people, nature, culture, health and welfare with over 500 million euro.

At the lotteries we work with people who have different backgrounds and nationalities. That makes us happy as diversity is the breeding ground for creativity, innovation and team work. It goes without saying, but if you think you can add value to our business, you are welcome. Regardless of your roots, religion, age, work capacity or your philosophy.
